Frequently asked questions
What silver do you accept?
Any .999 fine silver — rounds, bars, or generics from any mint. We don’t accept junk silver (90% coins) or sterling. The total must be at least 5 troy ounces.
What happens to my silver?
We add it to the Luster company collection. It’s documented in Luster itself, of course. Your contribution is real, physical backing for the product you’re using.
Can I renew with silver each year?
Yes. About 30 days before your year expires, we’ll send a renewal reminder with the same option to send silver for another year.
What if I change my mind?
If you haven’t shipped yet, just let us know — no obligation. Once silver is received and your account is activated, it’s a done deal (like any trade).
Is this available internationally?
Currently US only due to shipping logistics. International silver payment is something we’re working toward.
